How do I get there?
By Train
From London (Euston): Take a direct Northwestern Railway service from London Euston towards Milton Keynes or Birmingham. Trains run regularly and take around 30–35 minutes to Berkhamsted Station.
From Berkhamsted Station to Ashridge House: The venue is a 10 minute drive or taxi ride from the station. There is a taxi stand, but we suggest booking a taxi in advance. We have used A1 Taxi and Uber (though they aren’t always around).

By Car
Do people ever follow written instructions on a website anymore? Just click on the map here, or put the postcode HP4 1NS in your favourite maps app and you’ll get there.
You can’t miss it – it’s the giant stone castle. There’s free parking on site.

Where do I sleep?

Our venue can accommodate every guest on site, so you can enjoy the fun without worrying about how you’re getting home at 2 am.
Here’s an explanation of room types.
You have the option to stay for both Friday and Saturday or just Saturday night. Check in starts at 3 pm, and check out is at 11 am.

We’d love for you to stay with us! But if you don’t want to stay on site, here are a few good options. There are also plenty more options in Berkhamsted, which is just a 10 minute drive away.

Will I be fed enough?
If you’re like Kelly, you need to know when and how much food will be available. This part of the guide is for you (and her, when she forgets).
Gluten free and vegan options will be available throughout the days.
Head into Berkhamsted for breakfast, or grab a bite at the bakehouse, Ashridge House’s on-site cafe.
Saturday
Morning
Post-ceremony canapés. Think, like, five bites of (really yummy) food to give you a taste of what’s to come. This is typically when Kelly also eats a protein bar.

A three-course meal. You will be full after.

Pizza to keep you dancin’ till 2 am.

Join us for a full breakfast in the same hall where we had our dinner the night before.
Sunday

Julian and Kelly will post up at a pub in Berkhamsted, exact location to be confirmed and updated here closer to the time. You’ll be able to order food and beverages to your heart’s desire.

What’s the dress code?
Summer Formal
We want you to dress up, but it’ll probably be too hot for a tuxe. We’re thinking long, lush, flowy dresses in bright colours and suits in breezy fabrics.

Where do I go in?
The most obvious entrance is the South Entrance.
I really like to exercise my body before I exercise my liver. What can I do?
There’s a lovely gym and pool on site.
Seriously, I’m sooooo hungry.
The bakehouse is your best option. If it’s late, you might need to head to Berkhamsted for a quick bite.
I love nature.
Good for you! There are a few amazing walks with Ashridge House at the centre. The one you’re most likely to enjoy is the Foresters Walk, which takes 1-1.5 hours. (If you’re new to the UK, this is called a “country walk” and is a British pastime.)
