Three Days in London

Day 1: “I’m a tourist.”

Big Bus Tour: JUDGE ME but you can learn so much in a short amount of time on these. It’s also helpful to see more of the city, and you can decide if something is interesting enough to stop at. Best way to do it is to take each route one day and then note where you’d want to go. This is great if you’ve never been to London before.

Book an afternoon tea somewhere along your journey.

In the evening, head to a show! Some of our favourites include Operation Mincemeat, Les Misérables, Matilda, and The Lion King. We’ve seen most of them at this point, so send us an iMessage for our expert review.

Day 2: “I want to eat and drink my way through this city.”

Do the Westminster to Tower Bridge walk, which takes you from Big Ben / Westminster Abbey, down to Southbank (where the London Eye is), to Tower Bridge, all along the River Thames. For added fun, turn it into a pub crawl and stop at every pub on the way. The total walk is about 2.5 miles.

On your walk, be sure to walk through Borough Market, the best food market in London. Whenever we take people here, it’s a highlight of their trip! Check out the groceries, meats and cheeses, but also don’t miss the “hot food” area for lunch – options galore. Plan to spend about an hour to 90 minutes here.

If you want to keep being a tourist, cross the bridge to the Tower of London, where they hold tours every 15 minutes and you can see the Crown Jewels.

If you don’t want to be a tourist (as much), head to Spitalfields Market to eat, drink, and shop.

Make sure you note what times the markets close in your planning! They usually start clearing up around 5 pm.

Day 3: “I’m so tired and hungover.”

Sounds about right. Go to Primrose Hill. Have brunch. Visit Kelly’s favourite boutique. Climb to the top of the hill.
